Seattle, like most of the country is defined by its neighborhoods.  The downtown area has two great residential areas, Magnolia and Queen Anne.  The International District is  active community with calls itself home for many Asians.   The Fremont area is located in the Northwest section of the city and is proud of its trendy and hip spots for shopping and dining while the Northeast is close to the University of Washington and hosts a more affluent style of living.

Seattle is also known for it’s many museumes and numerious indoor markets like Pikes Place which is near the ferries. A landmark around the world is the famous Space Needle which allows visitors a fantastic panoramic 360 degree view of Seattle and it’s surrounding communities.   If you are a sports fan you can choose from a lineup of championship pro teams like the Seahawks, the Mariners and the up and coming Sounders soccer team.
